My name is Aoife and I have been a huge animal lover for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with Mini Lops in the Spring of 2020. It began with a plan to get two as pets, but I soon learned that Pure Bred Mini Lops were extremely hard to find here in Ireland, and Munster Mini Lops was born! I am based just outside Cork City.

All of my rabbits are my pets first, and their welfare is my number one priority!
My aim is to produce Mini Lop rabbits that are true to breed standard, creating small, compact rabbits with no health or behavioural issues. To me, it is extremely important to know your rabbits background before you decide to breed from him/her. 5 years into my breeding journey, I am confident in my own lines and the lines I use to broaden my gene pools here. A lot of the rabbits advertised as ‘Mini Lops’ are not true mini lops here in Ireland, and through ethical breeding I hope to pave a future for the breed here. There are a couple of other fantastic breeders throughout the country and I’m hopeful that we are doing all we can to keep this wonderful breed alive in its truest form, with healthy and well-tempered rabbits.

I adore shaded colours and as of 2026 I am hoping to focus on Vienna Free lines, with just one or two Vienna bunnies. I always breed with purpose to improve lines and keep back babies for myself. This is my hobby, and I breed for myself first and foremost. Of course, I cannot keep them all, so I often home babies to wonderful pet homes where they provide happiness for lots of families.

My babies are handled from birth, to ensure they are confident little bunnies by the time they leave here. They are socialised with dogs and can also be introduced to my cats, if you have a cat in your home. Your baby will leave here with a personalised care sheet and some change over food.
