Please take time to read my Homing Policies – It is important you are familiar with these before placing a deposit, or taking your rabbit home.
I only want the best for the babies born here, and a forever home is always the goal. Please do not be offended if I ask for some information on your previous experience with rabbits or the home they are going to. If this is your first rabbit, I am more than happy to spend time advising you and making the journey as enjoyable as possible!
At the moment I am operating a small waiting list for anyone genuinely willing to wait. Please note, I am a hobby breeder and a lot of my pairings are done with the intention of keeping babies back for myself. This, paired with the unpredictability of nature, means I cannot guarantee having babies born or available within a certain time frame. The waiting period could be anything from 3-6 months.
• When enquiring, please give as much information as possible on the proposed home, and your rabbit experience or research you have done. It’s important that I know the set up is suitable, and that they will get the care they require.
• Registering interest or wanting to go on my waiting list does not guarantee a baby will be homed to you. My rabbits will only be reserved if I feel the home is suitable.
• I do not home male & female pairs. Accidental litters happen too easily, and for young/sibling bunnies this is not something I want them at risk of. I do home female sibling pairs – but there are certain conditions if you wish to take 2 girls. You will need to be prepared to neuter both girls, and separate them beforehand if needs be prior to neutering & re-bonding.
• Babies are not available to reserve until they have been sexed and I have decided on my keepers. This is usually when they are around 4 weeks old.
• A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a baby. This is only refunded if something is to happen to the rabbit in my care. The baby is not reserved for you until I have received the deposit.
• My babies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks old. I will always give this date on reservation and am flexible within reason re. collection dates and times. If you cannot collect your baby until a later date, please let me know as soon as possible.
• All of my rabbits are sold as pets only without breeding rights, unless otherwise discussed. They can only leave with a pedigree if they are going to a reputable breeder, please contact me for further information on my terms for breeding homes.
• Please be transparent with me if you do plan to breed from your rabbit in the future. Not every rabbit is suitable for breeding, and the gene pool of decent mini lops is extremely small in Ireland.
• **If for any reason you need to rehome your rabbit, I kindly ask that I am contacted first before rehoming or advertising them. I take responsibility for the babies I breed and do not want them to end up in rescues or unsuitable homes. I will always do my best to take them back here or help find them a new home.**
